How to play Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow with OWO Skin
Install the OWO integration with MelonLoader, connect your Skin through MyOWO and add physical haptic feedback to supported moments throughout your VR experience.
Before you start

Important:
The Steam game folder is named Project Shadow. The integration was built against MelonLoader 0.7.2, so use version 0.7.2 or later.

Install MelonLoader
Download MelonLoader and install it on the Thief VR game executable.

Download the OWO mod
Download the latest Thief VR OWO integration from Nexus Mods.

Copy the mod files
Close the game and extract the three folders from the mod package into the game installation folder, where the executable and MelonLoader folder are located.
The sensations folder should contain the included 18 .owo files.

Connect your OWO Skin
Open MyOWO with your OWO Skin connected and calibrated.

Launch Thief VR
Launch Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow and select the game card in MyOWO to start the connection.
Game not connecting to MyOWO?
If a VPN or network configuration is blocking the broadcast, set ServerIp= in the configuration file to the IP address shown in MyOWO, then restart the game.
Manual connection
If automatic connection is not working, create a text file called OWO_Manual_IP.txt and enter the IP address used for the OWO connection.
How to uninstall the integration
Delete:
Mods/ThiefVR_OWO.dll UserData/ThiefVR_OWO/
Also delete UserLibs/OWO.dll unless another OWO mod is using it. No other game files are modified.

Light falls and fall damage are supported separately, helping different types of landings feel distinct through OWO Skin.

The integration also includes feedback for impacts, eating, left and right hip holsters and other supported gameplay moments, adding physical responses beyond stealth and direct danger.
