The integration uses REFramework and installs directly into the Resident Evil Village game folder. Once installed, MyOWO handles the connection with your OWO Skin.
Download the REFramework nightly build and install REFramework.zip into your Resident Evil Village game folder.
Copy the reframework folder included with the OWO package into the Resident Evil Village game directory.
Make sure both parts of the integration are present:
reframework\autorun\RE8_OWO.lua and
reframework\plugins\RE8_OWO.dll.
Open MyOWO with your OWO Skin paired and calibrated, launch Resident Evil Village and select the game card inside MyOWO. A heartbeat sensation confirms that the game has connected successfully.
Horror works by making every encounter feel uncertain. With OWO Skin, supported events can move beyond visuals and sound, giving combat, critical health and survival moments a physical layer.
When Ethan takes damage, OWO Skin can reproduce a physical response that reinforces the impact. In the currently validated build, damage can distinguish between attacks arriving from the front or the back.
When your health reaches a critical state, a heartbeat sensation reinforces the danger physically. Instead of relying only on visual indicators, your character’s condition becomes something you can also feel.
