How to play Subnautica 2 with OWO Skin

Install the OWO integration through UE4SS, connect your Skin with MyOWO and bring supported Subnautica 2 events into the physical world.

Important:

Install the non-dev version of UE4SS for Subnautica 2 separately before adding the OWO mod. The OWO package already includes its own enabled.txt, so you do not need to edit mods.txt.

Install UE4SS

Install the compatible non-dev version of UE4SS for Subnautica 2 before installing the OWO integration.

Download the OWO mod

Download the Subnautica 2 OWO integration from Nexus Mods.

Copy the mod into the UE4SS Mods folder

Copy the Subnautica2OwoMod folder into the correct UE4SS Mods directory for your version of the game.

Steam:

…\Subnautica2\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\

Xbox Game Pass:

…\Subnautica2\Binaries\WinGDK\ue4ss\Mods\

Leave enabled.txt in place

The mod already includes its own enabled.txt file. There is no need to manually edit mods.txt.

Connect and launch

Open MyOWO with your OWO Skin paired and calibrated, launch Subnautica 2 and then select the game card in MyOWO to start the connection.

Game not connecting to MyOWO?

If a VPN or network configuration is blocking broadcast traffic, set ServerIp= to the IP address shown in MyOWO and restart the game.
