How to play Elden Ring with OWO Skin

Install the OWO integration, connect your Skin through MyOWO and bring supported combat actions from the Lands Between into the physical world.

Important:

Use this integration offline with Easy Anti-Cheat disabled.
Before playing online again, remove the OWO mod and re-enable EAC.

Download the OWO mod

Download the latest Elden Ring OWO integration from Nexus Mods.

Install the files

Make sure Elden Mod Loader is installed inside:

…\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\Game\

Copy the mods folder from the downloaded package into the Game folder and merge it with the existing folder.

You should end up with:

Game\mods\er-owo.dll
Game\mods\er-owo\

Connect your OWO Skin

Open MyOWO and make sure your OWO Skin is connected and calibrated before launching Elden Ring.

Launch Elden Ring

Start Elden Ring with Easy Anti-Cheat disabled, then select the Elden Ring game card in MyOWO.

Having connection problems?

If Elden Ring cannot connect to MyOWO, or two cards for the same game appear, enter the IP address shown in MyOWO in ServerIp= and restart the game. VPNs or network settings that block broadcast traffic can also prevent automatic detection.

How to uninstall the integration

Delete:

Game\mods\er-owo.dll
Game\mods\er-owo\

Nothing else in the game needs to be changed. Re-enable Easy Anti-Cheat before returning to online play.

What does Elden Ring feel like with OWO Skin?

Elden Ring is built around timing, commitment and consequence. OWO Skin adds a physical layer to combat by giving supported attacks, impacts, defensive actions and player states their own haptic identity.

COMBAT

Feel the difference between attacking and hitting

A weapon swing and a successful impact are two different moments. OWO Skin reflects that distinction with separate physical responses, while heavier attacks create a longer sensation that follows the commitment of the move.

BOW

Feel the tension build before the release

Drawing and holding the bow creates a rising physical sequence across the chest, arms and back. The sensation builds with the action before the arrow is released.

DEFENSE

Block, parry and dodge

Defensive actions use different haptic patterns, helping a shield block, a precise parry and a dodge feel like separate choices rather than variations of the same feedback.

HEALTH

Danger has a heartbeat

When your health falls dangerously low, a heartbeat appears in your chest and becomes faster as the situation becomes more critical. Healing creates its own contrasting physical response.

MORE THAN IMPACTS

Status effects can have their own physical character

Bleed, frostbite, madness, poison, scarlet rot, sleep and deathblight use different combinations of zones, timing and haptic texture instead of feeling like variations of the same generic impact.

BUILT FOR THE RHYTHM OF THE FIGHT

Every action has a consequence. Now it can have a physical identity too.

The goal is not to make every moment stronger. It is to make supported moments feel different: the swing, the impact, the parry, the heartbeat, the recovery and everything that happens between them.
