2021 has arrived and it’s going to be a good one for video game lovers!
This year brings new and exciting games as well as several sequels that the community has been waiting for.
Deathloop (PS5, PC)
Deathloop is a new first-person shooter developed by Arkane Lyon (known for Dishonored). An immersive game that puts players in the shoes of the main character (Colt), an assassin who is trapped in a temporal loop. Similar to the Groundhog Day, Colt relives the same day over and over, trying to break the loop. Meanwhile, his opponent Julianna fights to maintain the loop. The game includes a multiplayer option where players can incarnate Julianna to go up against Colt.
The release date is scheduled for May 21st 2021.
The Medium (PC, Xbox Series)
The Medium is an innovative psychological horror game by Bloober, developer of Blair Witch and Layers of Fear. The main character is capable of perceiving both the spiritual and real-world, often simultaneously through a plit-screen. This “dual-reality” allows the player to solve puzzles, cross into the spirit realm and unravel its mysteries.
Released on January 28th 2021.
Hoursemarque (Resogun) is developing Returnal, an immersive third-person shooter with roguelike elements. Much like Deathloop, the main character is trapped in an alien planet where she dies and resurrects over and over, trying to escape the circumstances and fight the enemy.
The release date is scheduled for March 19th 2021.
Hitman 3 (PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Stadia, Switch, PC)
Become the hitman and fulfill his mission by traveling the world. Make sure to hide your true identity, and use any tools at your disposal. Will you be able to solve the puzzles and achieve your goals?
Released on January 20th 2021.
Ratchet & clank: Rift Apart (PS5)
Bringing nostalgia to PlayStation players, Ratchet & Clank are back. Explore new dimensions, get to know new characters and discover new gadgets with Insomniac’s iconic duo. There will be many new aspects in this exclusive PS5 release.

Resident Evil Village (PS5, Xbox Series, PC)
Travel ahead in time, several years after Resident Evil 7. A story based around Ethan Winters who has to face new mysteries in a remote village caused by the return of Chris Redfield. Fight to survive in this first-person perspective next-gen survival horror game that will certainly be impactful.
Released on January 22th 2021.
Horizon Forbidden West (PS4, PS5)
Aloy and the dystopic post-apocalyptic world are back with more robots, weapons and new regions to explore. Control the main character and hunt machines while traveling around a destroyed West California.
To be released in late 2021.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 (Switch)
Very little of this game is known, the official name and release date are still incognito too but we are looking forward to this classic.
