Spanish Tech Startup Brings Haptics to Fortnite and League of Legends to Enable Players to #FeeltheGame
OWO, the developer of a haptics system that allows users to physically feel sensations while in-game, announced today their technological collaboration with Overwolf. Through this collaboration, more content will become available for OWO’s Haptic Gaming System, which will be released worldwide by the end of 2022.
With over 30 sensations already created, and endless possibilities for developers thanks to the Sensations Creator, the system delivers an amplified level of immersion enabling users to physically feel in-game actions while playing on a PC platform. Players can feel the wind while free-falling out of the bus in Fortnite, experience the sensation of being wounded in-game, and the enemy’s nexus explosion when winning in League of Legends. In 2022, OWO was recognized as an Innovation Awards Honoree at CES and had great success among developers at GDC and end-users at GamesCom and Tokyo Game Show.

With over 30 sensations available, the Founder Edition delivers an amplified level of immersion as now it’s possible to physically feel games on all platforms - PC, Mobile, Console and VR. Gamers have the chance to interact with the environment, experience their surroundings, and receive impacts and alerts in real-time while playing.
